Bloom School: Rose Gather & Design
The roses will be in full bloom for this special Gather & Design workshop with Felicity Jones. Using your own custom-made vase from Plum Ceramics, Felicity will guide you through making a gorgeous centrepiece arrangement, using flowers you have freshly harvested from Nourish Gardens Flower Farm. Felicity will demonstrate a variety of tips and techniques for arranging flowers, then you will be able to practice what you have learnt. At the end of the workshop you will be able to take home your own beautifully styled arrangement, in your own unique ceramic vase.

-Christy’s favourite roses and spring flowers for cutting
-Harvesting and post-harvest tips to keep flowers fresher for longer
-How to design centrepiece arrangements, foam free
-Tips and techniques for creating different styles, with a focus on natural methods
INCLUDES
Tutoring, all flowers and foliage for your arrangements, a custom made vase from Plum Ceramics, and a delicious morning tea.
TO BRING
-Clothes & closed shoes suitable for the weather conditions, and that you don’t mind getting a bit of soil on. If it’s wet we may well be heading outside regardless!

Christy is a teacher and gardener and loves to combine these two passions. She is the owner of Nourish Gardens, a diversified flower farm, and co-tutors the Floral Business Activator flower farming mentorship programme.
Felicity: Felicity Jones Floristry
Felicity Jones is an intuitive floral designer who creates beautiful arrangements using sustainable methods and locally sourced flowers. She works across a wide range of areas, from weddings and events to film sets and art installations. An avid gardener and forager, Felicity loves showing others how to bring the natural world into their own homes.
