A forest garden is an exciting and satisfying way of growing a variety of edible and medicinal plants. Designed to be self-sustaining, forest gardens can be as big or small as you wish. Even a small backyard can have a forest garden.
This workshop aims to provide you with inspiration and knowledge to plan your own unique forest garden. Gain some practical experience maintaining an established food forest and take home your own propagated plants.

Christy is a teacher and gardener and loves to combine these two passions. Christy has a substantial edible food garden as part of Nourish Gardens located in the beautiful Owhanake Bay on Waiheke Island.
$75 per person. This includes course resource materials, and a seasonal garden produce themed morning tea. You will also propagate and pot up your own food forest plants that you can take home to start your very own food forest.
