Grow School: Dahlia Dividing & Growing
It’s autumn and that means it’s time to dig the dahlias! Dahlias grow from tubers, a bit like a potato, which means you can dig them out and divide them up to produce even more plants. In this workshop we will give you a demonstration on dividing tubers, then you will have a practice dividing clumps under our guidance. Along the way we will give you some tips on growing them. At the end of the workshop you will leave with at least ten tubers, packaged in wood chips in a storage container, ready for you to plant in your own garden in spring. This workshop is also one of the very few ways to get your hands on our much in demand tubers!Â
